Nandita Shangari

Nandita Shangari is a Managing Director at RA Capital Management, L.P., where she invests across biotech and life sciences at multi-stage levels including seed, Series A, and Series B. She invests globally with a focus on the United States and Switzerland, across sectors such as biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, diagnostics, research tools, cell therapy, immuno-oncology, gene therapy, autoimmune disorders, infectious disease, genomic target validation, computational biology, and machine learning/AI in therapeutics. She has invested in companies like Mediar Therapeutics, ADCendo, Halda Therapeutics, and Capstan Therapeutics. Previously, she was a Managing Director at Novartis Venture Fund and held roles at Novartis including Director, Alliance Management, Business Development and Licensing; Global Program Team Director; Global Program Manager; Senior Investigator II; and Principal Scientist. Nandita graduated from the University of Toronto and resides in the United States.
