Marshall Porter

Marshall Porter is a General Partner at AlleyCorp, where he invests in early-stage Seed and Series A startups across consumer tech, enterprise/B2B, marketplaces, fintech, the creator economy, and eCommerce, with a focus on commerce, consumer, and fintech. He invests primarily in the United States, with emphasis on the East Coast and Greater New York Area. He has invested in companies like Barte, For Wellness, Relay Commerce, Whoosh, and Moons. Before AlleyCorp, he served as US CEO of Gympass; Chief Strategy Officer at ShopRunner; President at Spring Inc.; Senior Vice President and General Manager, International, and Vice President, Business Development at Gilt Groupe; Director, Mobile at Digital Fountain (acquired by Qualcomm); and held multiple business development and partner management roles at Handango. Marshall studied at the University of St Andrews and Texas Christian University, and lives in New York.
