Barak Schoster Goihman

Barak Schoster Goihman is a Partner at Battery Ventures, where he invests from seed and Series A through growth and buyout across big data architecture, DevOps/DevSecOps, cybersecurity, machine learning, open-source software, cloud infrastructure, and infrastructure/application software. He invests in companies in Israel and globally. Battery Ventures raised $3.8 billion in November 2022. He has invested in companies like Mine, Wing Cloud, Hush Security, Amplication, and Baz. Before becoming a Partner, he was a Venture Partner at Battery Ventures; earlier, he was Senior Director and Chief Architect at Palo Alto Networks and the CTO & Co-founder of Bridgecrew, with prior roles at RSA Security and Fortscale, the Israel Defense Forces (big data and BI), and SEO Creative LTD. Barak holds an MBA from Bar-Ilan University and a BSc in Computer Science from The College of Management Academic Studies, and lives in Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel.
