David Tisch

David Tisch is Managing Partner at BoxGroup, where he invests in early-stage technology companies across sectors including Consumer, Enterprise, FinTech, Healthcare, Life Science, Marketplaces, and broader Technology. He focuses on Pre-Seed, Seed, and Series A rounds, investing across the United States with concentration in the Greater New York Area, the East Coast, and the Northeastern US. He serves on the boards of Good Dog (Chairman) and Friends of Hudson River Park, and previously served on the boards of Lemontree Foods and New York Public Radio. He has invested in companies like Warby Parker, Harry’s, Oscar, ClassPass, and PillPack. Before BoxGroup, he co-founded TechStars NYC and served as Managing Director for TechStars in New York. He was Professor and Head of the Startup Studio at Cornell Tech, co-founded and served as Chairman of Spring Inc., co-founded and was Managing Director at knowmore, and was Executive Vice President – Internet at KGB. David holds degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and New York University School of Law and resides in New York, United States.
