Lucy Deland

Lucy Deland is a Co-Founder & General Partner at Inspired Capital, where she invests at the pre-seed, seed, and Series A–C stages across technology, the digitization of the industrial economy, the modern workforce, the monetization layer of the internet, AI, and financial services. She is investing out of Inspired Capital’s $330M fund raised in February 2024, and focuses on companies across the United States, including the Greater New York Area and the East Coast. She is an advisor and board observer at Paperless Post, and has invested in companies like Teamshares, Rho, Finix, Habi, and Zaya Care. Before Inspired Capital, she was COO and led Business Strategy at Paperless Post, prior to which she was an Analyst at Insight Venture Partners. Lucy graduated from Harvard University and lives in New York.
