Vijay Pande, PhD, is Co-Founder & Managing Partner at VZ.VC, where he invests in AI + Bio and bio+health companies across the United States at stages including Series A–E and venture rounds. He serves on the boards of Function Health and BioAge Labs, and has invested in companies like Freenome, Rigetti Computing, Apeel Sciences, Omada Health, and Q Bio. Before VZ.VC, he was a General Partner at Andreessen Horowitz, where he founded the bio+health practice. Vijay holds a PhD in Physics from MIT and a BA in Physics from Princeton University, and is based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
