Amias Gerety

Amias Gerety is a Partner at QED Investors, where he invests in financial services (fintech) companies from seed through late stage in the United States. He serves on the boards of Footprint, Kudos, Atomic Invest, Treasury Prime, and Ocrolus, and has invested in companies including Ocrolus, Treasury Prime, Atomic Invest, Kudos, and FreeWill. His focus areas span fintech subsectors such as core banking and infrastructure, insuretech, wealthtech, lending, proptech, consumer finance, vertical SaaS, and regtech. Before QED Investors, he held roles at the U.S. Department of the Treasury including Acting Assistant Secretary for Financial Institutions; Deputy Assistant Secretary, Financial Stability Oversight Council; and Senior Advisor to the Assistant Secretary for Financial Institutions. Earlier, he was a Consultant at Oliver Wyman and a Researcher at the Center for American Progress. Amias graduated from Harvard University and lives in Washington, DC.
