Howard Morgan

Howard Morgan is Chairman at B Capital Group where he invests across Technology and AI, including space, brain–computer interfaces, quantum technologies, and the impact of AI. He invests at Pre-Seed, Seed, Series A, Series B, Early, and Growth stages, and backs companies across the United States, Asia, Europe, and Israel. He serves on the boards of Gust, Idealab, and UpdateAI, and has invested in companies like UpdateAI, Apptronik, EeroQ, Augury Technologies, and LinkedIn. Before B Capital Group, he was Co-Founder and Special Advisor at First Round Capital; earlier roles include Founding President at Renaissance Technologies and Professor at the University of Pennsylvania, as well as Director at TIGER 21 (through 2018) and Board of Directors/Audit Committee at Franklin Electronic Publishers (through 2018). The firm raised $250 million in 2022. Howard attended Cornell University and lives in New York City, United States.
