Yair Schindel, MD, MBA, is Co‑Founder & Managing Partner at aMoon Fund, where he invests from Seed through Growth stages across HealthTech and Life Sciences, including Biotechnology, Biopharma, Digital Health, and Medical Technology. He backs companies in Israel and the United States, and aMoon’s most recent fundraise was in 2022. He has invested in companies like MDClone, DayTwo, Satellite Bio, Akoya Biosciences, and Air Doctor. Before aMoon, he was CEO of Digital Israel at the Office of the Prime Minister of Israel; CEO of Start‑Up Nation Central; held VP roles in marketing, clinical and business development at OmniGuide; co‑founded MAOZ, where he served as CEO and Board Member; and served as Chief and Senior Medical Officer with the IDF Navy SEALs and as a Medical Officer with the IDF Egoz Unit. He trained at Tel Aviv Medical Center, studied at Harvard Business School, and lives in Israel.
