Vishal Harnal is a Managing Partner at 500 Global where he invests multi-stage globally with a focus on AI, human healthspan, deep tech, and the intersection of technology and humanity. He invests at Pre-Seed, Seed, Series A, and later stages in companies across Southeast Asia and broader APAC, including Singapore, the Philippines, Hong Kong, and other ASEAN markets. He has invested in companies like Grab, Carousell, Bukalapak, Carsome, and Gilmour Space. He has also served as CEO of 500 Startups Management Company (Singapore), and held roles including Co-Founder and Co-Host of the Unreasonable Podcast; Founding Member of VC3 DAO; Council Member (International Council) at NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine; Co‑Chair of the ASEAN Connect Committee at the Singapore Venture Capital & Private Equity Association; Kauffman Fellow (Class 22); Expert Panel member (Private Equity and Venture Capital) at the Wealth Management Institute; Visiting Domain Expert Faculty in Technology Investment & Commercialization at the Singapore‑MIT Alliance for Research & Technology Centre; and short‑term Faculty at INSEAD.
