He has invested in companies like Thymmune Therapeutics, Arvada Therapeutics, Amplifyer Bio, Kula Bio, and Adaptilens. Before becoming Partner at Pillar VC, he was a Principal at the firm. Previously, he was Co-Founder of FL86 (Quotient Therapeutics) and an Associate at Flagship Pioneering; Founder & CEO of Amylon Therapeutics; Innovation Lead CNS and Research Intern at ProQR Therapeutics NV; a Research Intern at University Medical Center Groningen; and served on the student committee for the Summer School of Transplantation Medicine (SSTx'). He studied at the University of Groningen and lives in Boston, Massachusetts, United States.
