Matthew Fuller is a Partner at Geodesic Capital where he invests in Seed, Early-stage, Mid-stage, Growth-stage, and Late-stage startups across Technology, Deep Tech, National Security, Space, Fintech, Maritime, Power and Energy, Autonomous Systems, Enterprise Software, Healthcare, Sustainable Technologies, AI/CV, Advanced Manufacturing, Advanced Imaging, Precision Technologies, Robotics, Cybersecurity, Dual-use Deep Technologies, and AI Infrastructure. He invests in companies across Japan and the United States. He serves on the board of TheatreWorks and has invested in companies like Mueon. Before Geodesic Capital, he was Vice President at The Roos Group, Director at the National Security Council, and held several roles at the U.S. Department of State, including Foreign Service Officer; Special Assistant to Ambassador Richard H. Jones, Senior Iraq Advisor to the Secretary of State; and Special Assistant to Administrator L. Paul Bremer III and Deputy Administrator Richard H. Jones at the United States Department of Defense, Coalition Provisional Authority. He also served as a Fellow at the United Nations Institute for Training & Research (UNITAR) and an Assistant Language Teacher with the Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme (JET). Matthew studied at The LBJ School of Public Affairs and lives in Chicago. The firm raised a fund in September 2025.
