Cyril Ebersweiler

Cyril Ebersweiler is a General Partner at SOSV, where he invests in early-stage deep tech and hardware startups (via SOSV and HAX). He invests from inception and pre-seed through Seed and Series A–C rounds, and backs companies globally, including in the United States, China, Europe, and across Asia, with focus areas spanning deep tech, hard tech, hardware, robotics, health, and broader technology. He serves on the board of SEEDS Capital and has invested in companies like Formlabs, Opentrons, Particle, Avidbots, and Simbe Robotics. He has served as Founder/Managing Director at HAX and RETVRN, contributed to TechCrunch, lectured at Nanyang Technological University Singapore, served on the investment panel at SG Growth Capital, mentored at The Knowledge Society (TKS), and advised Relocalisations.fr. He studied at Université de Poitiers (Business Law) and IAE France – Écoles Universitaires de Management (Commerce & International Management), and is based in Singapore.
