Rajesh Swaminathan is a Partner at Khosla Ventures where he invests in deep-tech and climate tech. He backs companies from pre-seed through late stage (including Seed, Series A and Series B) across the United States—including the San Francisco Bay Area, West Coast, Western US, Houston and Dallas—as well as Europe, India and Japan. He has invested in companies like Nitricity, Fortera, Verdagy, Commonwealth Fusion Systems and Mainspring. Before Khosla Ventures, he was Head of Applied Ventures (and previously Investment Director and Investment Manager) at Applied Ventures, a Senior Associate at Third Point Ventures, a consultant at Khosla Ventures, worked in Investment Banking at Deutsche Bank and was Lead, Emerging Technologies at Nokia Bell Labs. Rajesh attended Harvard Business School and lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
