Elizabeth "Beezer" Clarkson is a Partner at Sapphire Partners, where she focuses on LP investments in venture capital funds across Seed, Series A, Series B, expansion-stage, growth, and late stage (through IPO). She is investing from a $1.7 billion vehicle raised in February 2021, with exposure across sectors including SaaS, data and analytics, AI, DevOps and open-source software, cybersecurity, fintech, healthcare, consumer software, media and entertainment, and sports, and across geographies including the United States, Europe, Israel, and globally via a fund-of-funds model. She serves on the board of the National Venture Capital Association, and has invested in companies like Auth0, JFrog, Sumo Logic, Contentful, and 23andMe. Before Sapphire Partners, she was Director of the DFJ Global Network at Draper Fisher Jurvetson, an Investment Manager at Omidyar Network, and a Business Manager in the Consumer PC Global Business Division at Hewlett Packard; she has also served as a Trustee of Alonzo King’s LINES Ballet and on the Board of Trustees at Wesleyan University. Beezer earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and lives in Austin, Texas, United States.
