Alexi Nazem

Alexi Nazem is a General Partner at AlleyCorp where he invests in Early Stage and Series A healthcare startups across the United States, with a focus on the Greater New York Area and the East Coast. He is operating off a $250M fund raised in April 2024. His sector focus includes Healthcare, AI-Enabled Care Delivery, Payer & IT Systems, Pharma Tech, Digital Health, Value-Based Care, and Physician Entrepreneurship. He serves on the board of Nomad Health and has invested in companies like Rhino FCP, Pearl Health, Diana Health, and Thyme Care. Before AlleyCorp, he was Co-Founder and CEO of Nomad Health; an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine; an Attending Physician at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital; a Steering Committee Member at Cornell Tech; a Resident Physician in Internal Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital; a Clinical Fellow at Harvard Medical School; a Summer Associate at McKinsey & Company; and served at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement as National Field Manager for the 100,000 Lives Campaign and Special Assistant to the CEO. Alexi holds an MD from Yale School of Medicine, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a BS in Molecular Biophysics & Biochemistry from Yale University, and lives in New York.
