Jon Turow

Jon Turow is a Partner at Madrona Venture Group where he invests in applied AI/ML, data infrastructure, financial infrastructure, and open‑source business models at Seed, Series B, and other early venture stages. He invests in companies across the United States, Western US, Washington, the Greater Seattle Area, Seattle, and Portland. He has invested in companies like MotherDuck, OctoAI, Runway, Numbers Station, and RelationalAI. Before Madrona, he was Head of Product for Computer Vision (Amazon Textract and Amazon Rekognition) at Amazon Web Services (AWS), and previously a Principal Technical Product Manager for AWS Greengrass; he also held product roles on AWS IoT and Amazon Simple Notification Service (SNS), and co‑founded knockknock. Jon holds a BS from The Wharton School and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, and lives in Seattle, Washington.
