Katherine Zhang

Katherine Zhang is a Partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners, where she invests at the early stage and Series A across fintech and vertical AI. She has invested in companies including Brale and DualEntry. Before Lightspeed, she was an Investor at Upfront Ventures, a Consultant at Boston Consulting Group, and held multiple roles at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York in Complex Financial Institutions Supervision and Markets; earlier roles include finance at UCSF, business development at TriNet, and marketing at Insight Wealth Strategies. Katherine holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a BS in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, and a BA in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and also studied abroad at the London School of Economics and Political Science. She lives in San Francisco, California, United States.
