Joe Horowitz is the Managing General Partner at Icon Ventures, where he leads early- to mid-stage financings across technology with notable activity in security. He invests from Seed through later stages (including Series F) across sectors such as security, enterprise software, internet services, semiconductors, and digital media, primarily in the United States with a focus on California and the San Francisco Bay Area/Silicon Valley. He serves on the boards of Istari Digital, PLAYSTUDIOS (MYPS), and Global Worldwide, and has invested in companies like Synack, TuneIn, Avnera, FireEye, and Palo Alto Networks. Before Icon Ventures, he was Chairman & CEO of Geocast Network Systems. Joe attended The Wharton School and Columbia University and lives in Palo Alto, California.
