Vineeta Agarwala, MD PhD, is a General Partner at Andreessen Horowitz where she invests from Seed through Series D across Biotech, Digital Health, Life Sciences Software, Life Sciences Tools/Diagnostics, Drug Development, Artificial Intelligence, Patient Care Delivery, Personalized Medicine, and Health‑Wellness. Her investment geographies include the United States (California, Palo Alto, San Francisco Bay Area, Silicon Valley, West Coast). She serves on the boards of Tenet Healthcare and the National Venture Capital Association, and has invested in companies like BigHat Biosciences, Orbital Therapeutics, Pearl Health, Waymark, and Function Oncology. Before Andreessen Horowitz, she was a Venture Partner at GV; earlier she held product management roles at Flatiron Health, worked as a Data Scientist at Kyruus, and as a Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company. She has also served as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the Stanford University School of Medicine.
