Matt Garratt

Matt Garratt is a General Partner at U.S. Venture Partners (USVP) where he invests in Software and SaaS across Enterprise Software, AI, deep-tech, data-first applications, automation, vertical SaaS, payments, marketplaces, manufacturing software, clean energy, ClimateTech, analytics, e-commerce, FinTech, cybersecurity, consumer, and healthcare. He is operating a $400M fund raised in December 2022, and invests from Seed through late-stage (Seed to Series E and private equity) in the United States, Europe, and Africa. He serves on the boards of Weave and Clarify, and has invested in companies like Snowflake, Zoom Video Communications, Rundoo, and Power. Before USVP, he was a General Partner at CRV, and earlier held multiple roles at Salesforce, including SVP & Managing Partner at Salesforce Ventures; Vice President, Salesforce Ventures & Corporate Development; Senior Director, Corporate Development & Salesforce Ventures; and Corporate Development & Strategy. Matt holds an MBA/MS in Finance & Entrepreneurship from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and a BS in Materials Science & Engineering from Purdue University. He lives in Menlo Park, California.
