Mark Peter Davis is Managing Partner at Interplay, where he invests in technology-enabled businesses at the early stage (pre-seed, seed, Series A and Series B) across North America, with a focus on the United States, including the East Coast and Greater New York Area. Focus areas include finance and financial services. He serves on the board of Kohort Technologies, Inc., and has invested in companies like Knot, Provi, teachme.to, Justpoint, and Plenty. Before Interplay, he was a Venture Partner at Primary Ventures, a Senior Associate at Draper Fisher Jurvetson Gotham Ventures, and a Manager in KPMG’s M&A Advisory. He also founded the Columbia Venture Community, Blue Venture Community, and New York Venture Community, and has worked as a podcast host (Innovation with Mark Peter Davis) and as the author of The Fundraising Rules. He attended Columbia Business School and is based in New York, United States.
