He invests primarily in the United States. FirstMile Ventures raised a fund in August 2021. He serves on the boards of Axellio Inc. (Executive Chairman), Hedera (Chairman of the Board), Altia, Inc., FalconStor Software, and CTI - Chromatic Technologies, Inc., and has invested in companies like Pax8, Cloud Elements, Hedera Hashgraph, IronCore Labs, and Valid8. Before FirstMile, he was Chairman and CEO of X-IO Technologies and held roles with Hedera/Hedera Hashgraph including Board Member and Co-chair, Membership Committee. Bill graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and lives in Colorado, United States.
