Tanya Beja is a General Partner at AlleyCorp where she invests in Seed to Series B startups across Economic Infrastructure, Social Impact, Workforce Tech, Healthcare, and the Future of Work. She invests primarily in the United States with a focus on the Greater New York Area. She has invested in companies like Stepful, Coral Care, Dandi Technologies, Upwage, and Alice. Before AlleyCorp, she was Head of Latin America at Blue Marble Microinsurance; prior to that she was a Senior Program Officer at the Robin Hood Foundation, Director of Industry and Investor Relations on the investment team at IGNIA Partners, worked in New Product Development at Banco Compartamos, and was an Associate at NERA Economic Consulting. She studied at the Harvard Kennedy School and lives in New York.
