Eliot Durbin is a General Partner at BOLDstart Ventures where he invests in developer‑first software, crypto infrastructure, and SaaS, backing companies from inception and pre‑product development through angel, seed, Series A, and Series B stages in the United States, particularly the Greater New York Area and East Coast. He serves on the boards of CrewAI, Reco, and Smallstep, and has invested in companies including Snyk, SecurityScorecard, Kustomer, Superhuman, and BigID. Previously, he was Co‑founder of Penny Black, Founder of Templates.com, and worked in Investor Relations/Research at Permal Group. Eliot studied at Georgetown University with post‑graduate study at Columbia University, and lives in New York City.
