Heather Hartnett is CEO and General Partner at Human Ventures where she invests in Pre-Seed, Seed, and Series A stage startups across health and wellness, future of work, finance, the attention economy, and human connection/experiences. She focuses on early-stage company building via a startup studio and incubator, and invests in companies across the United States and Europe, with activity in the Greater New York Area, East Coast, Silicon Valley, and the San Francisco Bay Area. She serves on the boards of Transact Global, the Trilantic Capital Partners Founder’s Council, AARP’s Innovation Council, Summit Impact, and the Tech:NYC leadership board, and has invested in companies like Salvo Health, Capsule, Adelaide, Parento, and Paloma Health. Before Human Ventures, she was an Entrepreneur in Residence at City Light Capital and held venture roles at Lightspeed Venture Partners and Claremont Creek Ventures; earlier, she served as Director of Development and Director of Communications at The David Lynch Foundation. Heather studied at Maharishi International University and New York University and lives in New York.
