Carl Ledbetter

Carl Ledbetter is the Chief Executive Officer of SimpleRose. He invests in technology, software, enterprise applications, and information technology companies in the United States at Seed through Series D stages. He serves on the board of Cloudflare, Inc. (Member, Board of Directors; Chairman, Compensation Committee; Member, Audit Committee), and has invested in companies including Clockwork Systems, Monarx, Bitcasa, and Conviva. Previously, he was Managing Partner and Managing Director at Pelion Venture Partners. Earlier roles include SVP Engineering and Development & CTO at Novell; CEO & Chairman at Hybrid Networks Inc.; President at AT&T Consumer Products; General Manager & Sun VP at Sun Microsystems; Executive Vice President at Control Data Corporation; Chief Executive Officer at ETA Systems, Inc.; and Lab Director, Engineering & Scientific Laboratory, Kingston at IBM. He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Clark University, an M.A. in Mathematics from Brandeis University, and a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Redlands, and resides in St Louis, Missouri, United States.
