Nicholas Chirls

Nicholas Chirls is a Partner at Asylum Ventures where he invests in Pre-Seed and Seed stage startups across the United States, including New York, the Greater New York Area, the East Coast, and the broader Northeastern US. He has invested in companies like Density, Privy, ChargeLab, Formsort, and Runwise (Heat Watch). Before Asylum Ventures, he was a Partner at Notation Capital and Head of Investments at betaworks; earlier roles include Head of Business Development at HappyFunCorp, Co-Founder at TwoSeed, and Trader at Lehman Brothers. He studied at Yale University and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and lives in Brooklyn, New York.
