Jason Pontin is a General Partner at DCVC, where he invests in Seed and Series A stage startups in life sciences and deep tech across the United States and Europe (including the Greater Boston Area and London). He serves on the boards of Dayhoff Labs, Kanvas Biosciences, Recycleye, Aquafortus Technologies, and Relation Therapeutics, and has invested in companies such as Totus Medicines, ZwitterCo, Kanvas Biosciences, Relation Therapeutics, and Aquafortus. Prior to his current role, he was a Partner at DCVC. He has also been a Contributing Writer at WIRED and a founding board member, cofounder, and initial investor in Totus Medicines (through Social Impact Capital). Jason graduated from the University of Oxford and lives in Palo Alto, California, United States.
