Moritz Baier-Lentz is a Partner at Lightspeed where he invests in gaming, interactive technology, and AI, with a focus on gaming & interactive media. He invests at the Pre-Seed, Seed, Series A, and Series C stages across the United States, Europe, and Asia. He serves on the boards of Gardens Interactive, k-ID, Inworld AI, The Believer Company, and Volley, and has invested in companies like OpenAI, Inworld AI, Gardens Interactive, k-ID, and The Believer Company. Before Lightspeed, he was a Partner and on the Management Team at BITKRAFT Ventures; prior to that, he held roles at Goldman Sachs including Founder & Global Head of the Gaming Practice, Vice President/Executive Director in Technology Investment Banking (TMT), and investor in growth-stage venture capital. Earlier, he worked as a Data Scientist & Engagement Manager at IBM and a Strategy Consultant at McKinsey & Company, and served as an Advisor to the U.S. Digital Service (Executive Office of the President). Moritz attended Stanford Graduate School of Business and lives in Los Angeles.
