Elie Wurtman is a Managing Partner at PICO Venture Partners, where he invests in early-stage startups (Pre-Seed, Seed, and Series A) across Apparel/Consumer, Automotive/Autotech, Technology, and Cybersecurity. He invests in companies across Israel, the United States, EMEA, MENA, and Asia. He serves on the boards of Pery, Patient21 (Board Observer), Entara Lodges, Arbox, and RAVIN.AI, and has invested in companies like Vroom (Nasdaq: VRM), Spot.io (acquired by NetApp), Gloat, Zero Networks, and Fullpath. Before PICO, he was a General Partner at Benchmark Capital (2006–2012) and made early-stage investments at Jerusalem Venture Partners. Elie studied at Columbia University and The Jewish Theological Seminary, and lives in Israel.
