Alex Taussig

Alex Taussig is a Board Partner at Lightspeed, where he invests in consumer-oriented technology and online marketplaces across sectors including apparel, consumer packaged goods, financial services, food services, logistics, manufacturing, and retail. He focuses on Pre-Seed through Growth stages (Series A–D) and invests across the Americas and Europe, including the United States and the San Francisco Bay Area. He serves on the boards of Vinted, Table22, Archive Resale, All Day Kitchens, and Faire, and has invested in companies like Whatnot, Daily Harvest, Faire, Vinted, and thredUP. Previously, he was a Partner and Co-Head of the Consumer Practice at Lightspeed and a Partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners. Alex holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, an M.S. in Materials Science & Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and an A.B. in Physics from Harvard University, and he lives in San Francisco, California.
