Stefan Zlatev

Stefan Zlatev is a Partner at Breakthrough Energy Ventures where he invests in climate and energy technology. He invests at Seed, early venture, Series A, Series B, and later stages, and across North America (including the United States, California, and Washington) and the United Kingdom. He serves as a board observer at Brimstone, Rondo Energy, and Sortera Alloys, and has invested in companies including RedoxBlox, Xcel Energy, C-Zero, and Mangrove Lithium. Previously, he was an Investment Associate at Volvo Cars; held engineering and leadership roles at Rolls-Royce (including Engineering Programme Lead; Engineering Team Leader, Asia Pacific - Japan; and Business Valuation, Civil Aerospace); was an Engineering Intern at NASA; and was a Climate Tech Fellow at On Deck. He studied at Harvard Business School and lives in New York.
