Mariano Payano is a Partner at ICONIQ, where he invests globally (including Europe) across early stage, growth stage, late stage, and IPO and beyond in sectors such as AI and machine learning, enterprise infrastructure, security software, fintech, vertical software, consumer applications, online marketplaces, healthcare, and data/AI. ICONIQ completed a fundraise in 2024. He has invested in companies like Databricks, Figma, Canva, Ramp, and Pinecone. Before ICONIQ, he worked in Strategic Finance at Sourcegraph, was a Venture Investor at the Stanford GSB Impact Fund, and worked in Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley. Mariano earned his MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and lives in Palo Alto, California.
