Nick Kim

Nick Kim is a General Partner at Upfront Ventures, where he invests in early-stage (Seed and Series A) startups focused on critical infrastructure technology across industrial automation, manufacturing, energy, utilities, and aerospace in the United States, with emphasis on Greater Los Angeles and Southern California. He serves on the boards of BrightAI, Critical Energy, Observable Space, Tern, and a stealth startup, and has invested in companies including Apex - Spacecraft Manufacturing, Efficient Computer, BrightAI, Critical Energy, and Observable Space. Previously, he was a Principal at Crosscut Ventures. Nick holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a BA in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, and he resides in Los Angeles.
