Kate Beardsley

Kate Beardsley is a Founding Partner at Hannah Grey where she invests in Pre-Seed, Seed, and Series A stage startups across internet and technology, consumer, financial services, and service industries. She invests in companies across the United States, including Colorado, New York, Silicon Valley, and Texas. She has invested in companies like Workgrounds, Subject, Starday Foods, Wave Life, and NeighborSchools. Before Hannah Grey, she was Managing Partner at Upslope Ventures (formerly Galvanize Ventures); prior to that, she was a Founding Member, Investor, and Director of Operations at Lerer Hippeau, and earlier served as Chief of Staff to Kenneth Lerer at the Huffington Post and to Martha Stewart at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia. Kate graduated from Middlebury College and lives in Denver, Colorado.
