Micah Kotch

Micah Kotch is a Partner at Blackhorn Ventures where he invests in industrial impact across urbantech, mobility, and clean energy. He backs Pre-Seed, Seed, and Series A/early-stage companies in the United States, with a focus on the Greater New York Area, the East Coast, and the Northeastern US across Climate Tech, Industrial Decarbonization, Energy, Transportation, the Built Environment, Mobility, Real Estate, Urban Infrastructure, and Resource Efficiency. He serves on the boards of ThinkLabs AI and Electric Era, and has invested in companies like ThinkLabs AI, Electric Era, RailVision Analytics, and Specifx Data. Before Blackhorn, he was a Founding Partner at Climate Capital, Managing Director at URBAN-X, and Director of NY Prize and Strategic Adviser for Innovation at NYSERDA. Micah graduated from Colgate University and lives in Brooklyn, New York.
