Cat Dizon is a Partner and Co-Founder at Active Capital, where she invests in pre-seed, seed, and early-stage rounds through Series B across B2B SaaS, AI-powered business software, cloud, and AI. She focuses on companies in Texas and the Southern US, as well as across the broader United States. She serves on the boards of Geekdom (Chair of the Board of Directors), Mind Science Foundation (Vice Chair, Board of Trustees), and Girls Inc. of San Antonio (Director), and has invested in companies like Yac, Ardent AI, Betterleap, Makeswift, and Living Security. Before Active Capital, she was Founder & CEO of Dizon Ventures and served as CEO & Executive Director of Alamo Angels; she has also been a Director and Board Advisor at VentureLab, a founding committee member of Women@Austin’s Beam Angel Network, and a member of Global Women in VC. Cat studied at The University of Texas at San Antonio and completed executive education at Texas McCombs School of Business, and lives in San Antonio, Texas.
