Phil Grayeski

Phil Grayeski is Managing Partner at KdT Ventures, where he invests in pre-seed, seed, and early-stage startups across biotech, life sciences, deep tech, data science, engineering, biology, gene fabrication, biological circuit fabrication, novel delivery technologies, biomaterials innovation, consumer biology, medicine, agriculture, and chemicals. He is operating off a $50M fund raised in July 2020 and invests across the United States, with a focus on the Southern US, North Carolina, the Research Triangle, and the East Coast. He serves on the boards of ZymoChem, Cirsium Biosciences, Perceptive Technologies (formerly Cyberdontics), and Andes, and has invested in companies including ZymoChem, Perceptive, Andes, Cirsium Biosciences, and PathAI. Before his current role, Phil held roles at KdT Ventures as Partner, Principal, and Venture Associate. He was also Co-Founder of Torque Bio and served as a Strategy Advisor and Business Analyst at StrideBio, Inc. and Ribometrix. Phil studied at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the University of Cambridge, and the University of Georgia, and resides in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area.
