Emil Woods is a Founding Partner at Liberty City Ventures, where he invests in blockchain technology infrastructure and real-world/Web3 applications. He invests from pre-seed through late-stage rounds and has invested in the United States and internationally, including Germany and Hong Kong. He has invested in companies like Animoca Brands, Figment, Solidus Labs, Abra, and Horizen Labs. Before Liberty City Ventures, he co-founded Cedar Hill Capital Partners and was a Portfolio Manager at SAC Capital Management (Point72), prior to which he was a Portfolio Manager and Head Trader in the Equities and Asset Management divisions at Goldman Sachs & Co. Emil studied at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and lives in New York.
