Greg Sands

Greg Sands is the Founder & Managing Partner at Costanoa Ventures, where he invests primarily at Seed and Series A across enterprise and fintech, including Applied AI, AI infrastructure, B2B fintech, cybersecurity, national security, vertical SaaS/AI, and enterprise cloud services. He is currently operating a $394 million fund raised in September 2025 and invests across the United States, particularly the San Francisco Bay Area, Silicon Valley, and the West Coast. He serves on the boards of ForceMetrics, Beacon AI, SGNL, Auterion, and StackHawk, and has invested in companies like Auterion, PayNearMe, Vannevar Labs, AppOmni, and StackHawk. Before Costanoa, he was a Managing Director at Sutter Hill, a Product Manager at Netscape Communications, and a Manager of Business Development at Cisco. Greg graduated from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and Harvard University, and attended Blake School. He lives in Palo Alto, California.
