SignalFire raised $1 billion in October 2025, and invests across the United States (including California, the San Francisco Bay Area, Greater Los Angeles, and Texas) and India (including Bangalore, Karnataka). He has invested in companies such as Grammarly, Ro, Frame.io, Grow Therapy, and Horizon3.ai. Before SignalFire, he was a Tech Lead at CardSpring (acquired by Twitter) and a Software Engineer at Google and Oracle. Ilya graduated from Princeton University and lives in Los Altos, California.
