Shawn Carolan

Shawn Carolan is a Partner at Menlo Ventures where he invests in technology companies across Consumer Tech, AI, Fintech, Robotics, and Hardware at Seed, Series A–C, and Growth stages, primarily in the United States with a focus on the San Francisco Bay Area and Silicon Valley. He serves on the boards of Chime, ShipBob, OpenSpace, Monarch Money, and IMVU, and has invested in companies like Roku, Uber, IMVU, Siri, and TeleNav. He also served on the boards of Roku through its IPO and JUMP Bikes through its acquisition by Uber. Shawn received an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering (with a CS minor) from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and lives in Palo Alto, California.
