He has invested in companies such as Coinbase, Instacart, Cruise, Flexport, and Patreon. Previously, he was Founder & Managing Partner and later Board Partner & Advisor at Initialized Capital, and earlier a Partner at Y Combinator; he also co-founded Posterous.com and Posthaven, and held roles at Palantir Technologies and Microsoft. Garry graduated from Stanford University and lives in San Francisco, California.
