Sudip Chakrabarti is a Partner (Enterprise IT Software) at Pruven Capital, where he focuses on enterprise and infrastructure software. He invests across Seed, Series A, Series C, early-stage venture, and post-IPO, with activity in the United States—particularly the San Francisco Bay Area, Silicon Valley, Menlo Park, and the broader West Coast. Sector interests include infrastructure software, big data, security (including browser security), software-defined storage, machine learning, and wearables. He has invested in companies like Temporal Technologies, Spotnana, NocoDB, Penpot, and Infracost. Before Pruven, he co-founded two technology startups and held operating roles in public software companies. Sudip’s education includes The Wharton School; a PhD in Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology; and the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. He is based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
