Jeff Clavier

Jeff Clavier is the Founding Partner at Uncork Capital, where he focuses on seed-stage startups across sectors including SaaS, B2B enterprise solutions, consumer, marketplaces, financial services, and AI. His investments span the United States, France, Canada, and the Middle East, and he invests from Seed through later venture rounds (up to Series C). He serves on the boards of Venture Forward and Alpha Network, and has invested in companies like Fitbit, SendGrid, Eventbrite, Postmates, and Poshmark. Before Uncork, he was a Partner at RVC Capital (Reuters’ corporate venture fund), prior to which he was Head of Development, Systems at Reuters Plc. Jeff studied at Université René Descartes (Paris V) and Université Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris VI), and lives in Menlo Park, California.
