Daniel Karp is a General Partner at Cervin Ventures where he invests in early-stage (Seed, Series A, Series B) enterprise and B2B technology startups across infrastructure, security, DevOps, developer tools, cloud-native, open-source, networking, data management, AI, fintech, supply chain, retail tech, and quantum computing in the United States and India. He serves on the boards of Conveyor and OwnID, and is a board observer at Causely and Stream Security. Daniel has invested in companies including Brinker, Flightcontrol, LinearB, Gelt Technologies, and Coho AI. Before Cervin, he worked in Investments and Corporate Development at Cisco; in Strategy (Startup Business Group), and Product and Business Development (Azure) at Microsoft; was a VC Associate at Amiti Ventures; a chip design engineer and team lead at Comsys & Saifun; and served in Military Intelligence, Unit 8200 of the Israel Defense Forces. He holds degrees from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and Tel Aviv University, and resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.
